2017 Bowl for Kids' Sake

That’s the amount of money raised during the 2017 Bowl for Kids' Sake event in early February! This event is hosted annually in support of the Big Sisters Big Brothers of Greater Lafayette.
It was an honor for Lueken Chiropractic & Wellness Group to be a part of making changes in our community. A huge THANK YOU to those of you who supported our team.
Because of this, the organization will be able to match more children in Greater Lafayette with caring, adult mentors.
For more than 100 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to thrive. As the nation’s largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 7 through 18, in communities across the country.
The organization develops positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.
The Mission Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Lafayette Mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.
The vision of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Lafayette is that all children achieve success in life.
National research has shown that positive relationships between Littles and their Bigs have a direct and measurable impact on the lives of Littles. By participating in their programs, Little Brothers and Sisters are:
more confident in their schoolwork performance
able to get along better with their families
46% less likely to begin using illegal drugs
27% less likely to begin using alcohol
52% less likely to skip school.
